You had a dream this morning – the part you remembered is Daddy holding Kade and we were all walking away from you. You said I wrote a note to you that said “all hope is lost”. And you were sitting with a teenager named Chris. You said we didn’t know where you were. That was the end of the dream, and you couldn’t remember what happened in the beginning of the dream.
In real life, I prayed for you. Then we talked about how to put on the armor of God, discern where our dreams come from by measuring them against the truth of the Word of God. You prayed yourself too, repeating after me. We talked about how Jesus wins every battle, and already trampled the enemy who is a footstool to Him. We rebuked the devil together in Jesus’ name. We discussed the Second Coming and what that means for us, and also the power we have already in the Holy Spirit.
You know the Fruits of the Spirit, and how God produces these things in us. You know the Armor of God too, you recited them yourself. Now you have practiced how to sharpen your sword, and use it.
You learned how to fight the enemy head on and win.
I am not glad the enemy attached your dream, but I am incredibly grateful God turns all things to good and you’re learning how to WIN at this young age of not even 5 years old. The Lord filled you with hope and joy because you took your concerns to Him who controls and Authors all things. And no, my little man, my world-changer, my firstborn, all hope is not lost. God is the beginning of hope. And all you have to do is pray. I love you. One day you’ll read these posts and know how and why God built you into a mighty warrior.
